Mrs.Landry 2018

2018 is Here!

This month is the kick off of restarting my blog & also adding a vlog and some Youtube videos!

2017 Was full of great firsts and many challenges. In February I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and that was the best decision I have EVER made. I also started EMT school in February which was also super awesome! In May I started working at my current job which is a receptionist at a veterinarian office. In June I finished EMT school and started dating Michael Landry (my husband). In August I married my best friend and my better half! I know I know it's crazy we only dated for like 3 months max and only knew each other for seven months. Heavenly Father works in mysterious ways!

In September I had my first miscarriage with Michael, and it was devastating. At the time I wasn't even sure I was pregnant but it was definitely hard on us for our first month of marriage. We had our second miscarriage in November which was when we decided to really look into my health and see why they were happening. Also in November my husband lost his dear cousin Kevin Rodriguez to a very tragic event. So, within 3 months of being married we have dealt with three losses. It was by no means easy it brought many challenges within our marriage with it, but with Heavenly Father anything is possible.

Within the last month we have been to countless doctors appointments and many long nights but things are most definitely falling together perfectly. My husband and I have many challenges standing in our path but we are overcoming all of them with grace.(well maybe we aren't always so graceful lol) My husband Michael is Bipolar and I have a mood disorder and major anxiety which makes dealing with our struggles different and much harder at times! (I will do a post all about my husband soon.)

Like any marriage we have had our hard times within the first few months adjusting isn't easy but I do have to say we are doing great! This month it feels like everything is settling down and falling into place. We are doing great communicating and loving each other the way our love langues permit. I believe the thing that has made it much easier is our testimonies and our faith. We have been doing our best to reach out for guidance, reading our scriptures daily, praying together and alone, and attending church every Sunday.

These past few weeks we have been great I have to say being married to your best friend is the best thing I have ever experienced. Being a team is amazing. I can't wait to share with you our marriage tips that have made the first year easier so far, our daily lives, and our adventures for this coming year!

2018 will be a great one!!

Stay tuned!
